We are seeking an experienced Instrument/Electrical Designer to join our team.

About the Position
Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems. Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and develop design concepts. Prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation drawings, specifications, and other technical documents. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and precise drawings. Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and project specifications. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers and project managers, to ensure successful project execution. Ensure that all designs and documentation comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards Required Skills/ Abilities
Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrument/electrical design Previous experience working in refinery or chemical plant environment required Strong working knowledge of P&ID's, instrumentation design details, control loop preparation, location plans, control panel layout. Ability to communicate and understand work issued by various disciplines and others involved in a project design Eligible to work for any U.S. employer Be in good standing with DISA and valid TWIC are required. Education and Experience
3-5 years of experience required SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) INtools experience required Well versed in AutoCAD Strong working knowledge of electrical design, strong working knowledge of P&ID's, instrumentation design details, control loop preparation, location plans, control panel layout. Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Climbing (stairs/ladders) and field visits are required. Exposure to outdoors Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes hardhat, safety glasses, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other equipment as required. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
