Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Associate to join our dynamic communications team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that contribute to the positive image and effective communication of our organization. The Public Relations Associate will assist with crafting press releases, coordinating media events, and maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets to ensure our messages are effectively communicated to the public.

Pay Range

$1050 - $1350 weekly

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing public relations strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials.
• Maintain and update media lists, ensuring accuracy and relevance for outreach purposes.
• Coordinate logistics for press conferences, media events, and promotional activities.
• Monitor media coverage and compile reports on the effectiveness of public relations efforts.
• Engage with journalists and media representatives to build and maintain positive relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in public relations or communications, preferably in an agency or corporate environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with media relations, including understanding the news cycle and media trends.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools.
