Under general supervision, installs, operates, tests and repairs various units of the Fire Department radio system; and does related work as required.

Responsibilities

• Installs, operates, tests and maintains amplifiers, oscillators and public address systems in fire stations and on mobile units of the Fire Department.
• Installs, tests and maintains various units of the Fire Department air raid warning system.
• Maintains repair records.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience required in related work.
• Must be a resident of the city of Boston.
