Overview
Virtual Therapeutics Corporation seeks a UX/UI Designer for its Kirkland, WA office (telecommuting permitted from within commuting distance of Kirkland, WA).
Responsibilities
- Conduct usability testing, interpret data and qualitative feedback, and create prototype user interface designs for mobile, web, tablet, VR, and PC devices.
- Create accessible user-facing documentation and engage in quality assurance and user testing activities.
- Design visual communications (including data visualization and graphics), biological sensors, and healthcare research methods.
- Incorporate design research and product requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for data management platforms at the intersection of virtual reality, cloud technologies, and enterprise software.
Education
- Master’s degree in Human Centered Design and Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
Experience and Qualifications
- Two years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or a related occupation, including experience in:
- 18 months with Atlassian Jira and Confluence or similar tools for Agile/Scrum-based software development.
- 18 months identifying and reporting software design and development issues using Jira or similar tools for bug creation, tracking, and triaging.
- 24 months designing high-level control and data flows using Visio or Miro.
- 24 months designing high availability web-based applications using CSS, HTML5; reusable component-based Web UX; using Miro for user flow, data flow, and control flow diagrams; and Sketch or similar for UX design prototyping.
- 18 months experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis tools (such as Python, R, and SQL) and knowledge of web development concepts (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, APIs, or object-oriented programming).
- 24 months applying human-centered design techniques across a variety of projects.
- 18 months experience handling and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data within user studies and other research.
- 24 months experience designing for visual communication, including data visualization and graphics using Excel, Sketch, and R.
Compensation and Benefits
- Wage Range: $102,523 to $120,000 per year.
