We’re looking for a volunteer with skills in public relations, media outreach, or communications to help us expand the reach and impact of our work. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to use their communications expertise to advance equity and workforce justice.
Responsibilities may include:
Drafting and pitching stories to media outlets about our initiatives and new reports
Supporting press release development and distribution
Identifying media contacts and cultivating journalist relationships
Helping craft messaging that connects policy and research to real community impact

Skills We’re Looking For:
Experience with public relations, journalism, communications, or marketing
Strong writing skills
Media outreach experience is a plus, but not required
Commitment to equity and social justice
