We’re looking for a volunteer with skills in public relations, media outreach, or communications to help us expand the reach and impact of our work. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to use their communications expertise to advance equity and workforce justice.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Drafting and pitching stories to media outlets about our initiatives and new reports

  • Supporting press release development and distribution

  • Identifying media contacts and cultivating journalist relationships

  • Helping craft messaging that connects policy and research to real community impact

Skills We’re Looking For:

  • Experience with public relations, journalism, communications, or marketing

  • Strong writing skills

  • Media outreach experience is a plus, but not required

  • Commitment to equity and social justice
