Customer Relationship Marketing
team. This role focuses on managing and optimizing advertising investment across paid marketing channels including digital and print, driving new customer acquisition, and increasing mindshare and wallet share with existing customers. You will ensure marketing investments deliver against core KPI’s and that campaigns are aligned with the brand’s key initiatives and growth strategies.
About the Team You will be part of the Customer Relationship Marketing team responsible for managing and optimizing the advertising investment across our paid marketing channels including digital and print. The team drives campaigns across programs and channels to acquire new customers and to strengthen our relationship with existing customers.
About The Role You will support the team in driving brand sales and optimizing the marketing investment across our digital and print channels for Williams-Sonoma. You will execute marketing campaigns that support key brand initiatives and identify programs to acquire customers. Key responsibilities include executing testing and targeting strategies, scaling successful campaigns, and reporting performance KPIs. You will partner with digital or print subject matter experts to plan, implement and measure campaign performance, and assist with monthly and annual financial budgeting including invoice management and cost tracking. A successful candidate will have some experience in performance marketing, possess an analytical mindset, be highly detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-channel retail environment.
Responsibilities
Set up marketing campaigns and analyze results on relevant paid marketing programs across all device types and channels
Weekly reporting, including customer engagement metrics, trends, test results, and campaign performance
Prepare seasonal and quarterly performance recaps and present to Head of CRM
Develop understanding of brand identity to develop marketing strategies meeting financial and brand-building goals
Support measurement and analysis of the effectiveness and efficiency of existing digital programs
Execute catalog circulation and test plans and other print marketing campaigns
Collaborate with brand stakeholders on creative development for digital and print assets
Assist with multi-channel journey and life-stage marketing programs and store opening/closing marketing where applicable
Monitor competitive landscape to ensure best-in-class programs and execution
Partner with Customer Analytics to measure incrementality and improve investment efficiency
Utilize analytic tools (e.g., Tableau, DOMO, MMM, MTA) to inform strategy
Use data to identify, target, and deliver relevant messaging to key customer segments
Execute rolling 12-month test plan and propose new tests based on learnings
Share best practices and test results with peers across WSI brands
React to business trends and adjust plans accordingly
Qualifications / Criteria
1+ years of experience in Digital, Retail, or Print Marketing or relevant Digital Media planning
Proven track record in managing and optimizing a budget to ROI goals
Analytical, proactive, problem-solver with curiosity
Strategic and analytical thinker; ability to evaluate alternatives and develop effective solutions
Ability to extract actionable insights from data to drive results
Strong organization and interpersonal skills; excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to build effective relationships within the team and with cross-functional partners
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment; comfortable with ambiguity
Strong written and oral communication skills; strong Excel proficiency
This role requires onsite presence in the San Francisco office Monday through Thursday with Friday optional in office

Pay range: The expected starting pay range for this position is $70,000-$75,000. Applicable ranges may differ by market. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other factors. In addition to base pay, compensation may include benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
