About The Role
As a senior product designer on the Merchant Platform Innovation team, you will join an exciting new confidential initiative that has found momentum with an emerging hardware product. We’ve assembled a strong cross-functional, entrepreneurial team to take the product to the next level and we are looking for a designer to join its small but mighty design team. You’ll be responsible for the design of new end-to-end user experiences for our product. Given this initiative is still in its early stages, speed, craft, and execution quality are high priority. You’ll also need a strong owner mentality as you\'ll be expected to collaborate with cross-functional partners—including research, product, engineering, analytics, and business—to shape the team’s strategy and prioritize efforts. You’ll report to our Director of Design, Merchant Experience. This role is hybrid, working certain days a week onsite and the rest working from home. Lead the user experience of products end-to-end, including contributing to product strategy, running design sprints, and crafting visions Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other disciplines to build and ship your designs Deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities Create, collaborate, and refine flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals Design and ship high-quality product improvements We’re Excited About You Because…

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the ranges listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. DoorDash cares about you and your well-being.
