Position: Web Designer/Webmaster Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Designer/Webmaster to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a Web Designer/Webmaster, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining our company's WordPress-based websites. This role requires proficiency in WordPress, including the ability to create WordPress blocks or a strong willingness to learn. Basic front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) are essential, and experience with React is a plus. Responsibilities: - Create custom WordPress blocks or learn how to build them as needed. - Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement front-end design and functionality. - Collaborate with the development team to integrate React components when applicable. - Edit and optimize images using Photoshop for use on the websites. - Utilize AI generation tools such for specific design tasks. - Test and troubleshoot website performance across different browsers and devices. - Update and maintain existing websites with new content and features. - Work closely with the other team members to ensure consistent branding and messaging. Requirements: - Proficiency in WordPress, with experience in creating WordPress blocks or a strong willingness to learn. - Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience with React is a bonus but not mandatory. - Familiarity with photo editing tools such as Photoshop. - Knowledge of AI generation tools is a plus. - Must be located in the local Atlanta area or willing to relocate. - College student or graduate looking to build a strong portfolio. - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
