Learning A-Z is a standard-bearer in EdTech with a storied history, excellent brand awareness in schools, and best-in-class customer satisfaction. At the same time, the elementary literacy space is rapidly evolving in response to the Science of Reading. The VP of Marketing plays a key role in the evolution and elevation of Learning A-Z as an essential part of every K-6 classroom. This individual will help champion a re-imagination of the Learning A-Z brand and value story, managing those changes within the department and through the broader organization. In addition to driving strategic priorities and organizational performance marketing organization, the VP of Marketing serves as a vital member of the senior leadership team, bringing their market expertise and strategic thinking to support the overall organization's strategy and direction, including shining a bright light focus on how our solutions support research-based literacy strategies, creating impactful and measurable experiences in the classroom, leveraging data to support decision-making, continuing worthy stewardship of customer data, exploring new ways to innovate our business through AI, and identifying sustainable operational efficiencies that lead to better outcomes for students, teachers, and Learning A-Z. The VP of Marketing is a solution-oriented, innovative leader who owns the strategic vision for Learning A-Z's overall marketing strategy and empowers the marketing team to deliver excellence. Of critical importance to this role is the ability to leverage internal and external data reporting. The VP of Marketing makes data-driven decisions that ensure short and long-term goals supporting customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and financial objectives. They explain the logic of these decisions clearly, growing consensus within the organization on decisions and enabling the Marketing team likewise to leverage data in their roles. As a critical element of the position, the VP of Marketing is responsible for recruiting, retaining, developing, and supporting talented marketing professionals who collaborate with sales, customer success, and product management to ensure we bring our best to the market. Additionally, they partner with sales to provide effective and accurate vehicles for messaging through sales enablement.
