Our nonprofit organization is in search of an experienced Grant Writer to bolster our team. This individual will spearhead and expand our grant writing endeavors, taking charge of planning, researching, writing, budgeting, submitting, managing, and monitoring all grant-related activities. Additionally, the Grant Writer will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with foundations, corporations, and granting agencies, actively identifying both public and private grant opportunities. We are committed to inclusivity. If you lack specific grant writing or research experience but are eager to learn, we encourage you to apply and indicate your interest in your application. Volunteer Duties may encompass: Coordinating and overseeing grant applications from inception to submission. Organizing, compiling, and analyzing data related to proposed projects. Composing and editing proposals, letters of inquiry, support, agreement, and commitment. Assisting with renewal applications, grant modification requests, foundation correspondence, and reports. Managing grant evaluation and other outcome metrics as required for specific grants. Taking the lead in ongoing grant prospect research, including actively researching, analyzing, and identifying funding opportunities from various sources. Maintaining accurate and current records of all grant deliverables through a grants calendar and tracking system. If you are intrigued by this volunteer opportunity, please forward your resume and cover letter to agomez@globalpaints.org with the position clearly stated in the subject line. This Grant Writing role requires a candidate adept in the art of persuasion and skilled in donor and volunteer cultivation. While grant writing experience is advantageous, we welcome examples of successful grant writing campaigns you have been involved in. The selected Grant Writing Volunteer will collaborate with our executive staff and Board of Directors to develop grant materials, strategies, in-kind resources, and new programs aimed at advancing and expanding our organization.
