Job Overview:

Join our innovative team and support product design documentation using cutting-edge applications like AutoCAD and Inventor. You will have the opportunity to create engaging 2D and 3D illustrations, renderings, and animations for our Technical Communications and various internal and external customers.

Highlights of Your Role:

  • Create compelling 2D and 3D images for Installation, Service and Supplemental instructions.
  • Produce high-quality renderings for Architectural Detail Manuals, Parts Manuals, Product Catalogs, and Owner's Manuals.
  • Utilize Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Adobe Illustrator for 2D drawings and illustrations.
  • Collaborate with managers on department initiatives and help bring ideas to fruition.
  • Independently manage smaller scale projects with minimal oversight.
  • Provide constructive input for work process improvements.

You’re a Good Fit If You Have (or Can):

  • An Associate degree in drafting and design or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven skills in AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A working knowledge of Adobe products such as Illustrator, Acrobat, and Premiere Pro.
  • Familiarity with window and door terminology, construction, and production.
  • Helpfulness with knowledge of Marvin systems and software (OMS, Autodesk Vault, MODL, and ECN).
  • A knack for quickly understanding complex technical concepts and articulating them through relevant images or 3D CAD models.
  • Ability to efficiently collaborate with peers and team members.
  • A curious mindset with a desire to learn, explore, and share knowledge.
