About the Role
The Company is in search of a visionary Vice President of Design to lead and scale its global design organization. This pivotal role is dedicated to shaping intuitive, AI-powered experiences that democratize data for a wide range of users, from business professionals to analysts. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the long-term vision for design, serving as a strategic thought partner to product, engineering, and executive leadership, and ensuring design excellence at a strategic level. Key responsibilities include leadership and strategy, cross-functional collaboration, design excellence, customer obsession, and overseeing design operations and tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing high-tech enterprise products, with a preference for those with experience in BI or analytics, and a proven track record of leading large, distributed design teams. Applicants for the Vice President of Design role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years of design experience, with at least 7 years in leadership positions. A strong portfolio showcasing elegant UX at scale, a passion for high-growth, fast-paced environments, and a deep understanding of AI/ML-powered interfaces, search-driven UX, and data visualization are essential.
