Job Overview
As a Service Writer, you will play a crucial role in the automotive service industry by acting as a liaison between customers and the service department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure excellent customer service and streamline the repair and maintenance process.

Responsibilities
- Interact with customers to determine their vehicle issues and service needs
- Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers on the status of their vehicles
- Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely repairs

-Look up and source parts, ability to read parts catalogs
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance services
- Upsell additional services or products based on customer needs
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions

Experience
- Prior experience in vehicle maintenance, mechanics, auto body repair, or automotive sales is preferred
- Knowledge of brakes, oil changes, auto estimating, and customer service practices is beneficial
- Strong sales skills to effectively upsell services or products to customers

Qualifications:

Clean driving record

Able to work with little supervision

Go getter that is team oriented and self motivated, friendly, understanding, willing and patient.

Must be able to work in an environment that has constant distractions and interruptions. Must have the ability to multitask

Ability to read, write and speak English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
