Design audio/visual systems for new construction and large-scale remodels. Create detailed construction drawings and AV system layouts using AutoCAD or Revit. Coordinate designs with project managers, general contractors, architects, and other trades. Prepare material lists, riser diagrams, and elevations to support accurate and efficient installs. Interpret specifications, project scopes, and bid packages to ensure design accuracy. Attend design meetings and provide ongoing documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging AV technologies. Background Profile:
5+ years of experience installing, servicing, and programming A/V systems. Proficiency in Word and Excel Experience with BlueBeam is a plus Experience in school A/V systems preferred. Experience in Design of Fire Alarm or Security would be considered. Familiarity with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, QSC, etc.). Ability to interpret architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings. Strong communication and project coordination skills. CTS or CTS-D certification a plus. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and deadline discipline.
