Livestock Advertising Sales Consultant-Iowa
The Iowa Farmer Today & Lee Agri-Media, Lee Enterprises, Inc., are seeking a full-time Livestock Advertising Consultant & Customer Service Professional. This commission-based position requires inbound and outbound sales experience with a strong focus and background in the livestock industry.
This position works with Lee Agri-Media's livestock accounts which include livestock sale barns and individual livestock producers to develop recommendations based on customer needs and objectives. An ideal candidate will have sales experience, marketing knowledge and an understanding of the livestock industry. This position requires excellent communication skills and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to cold call and prospect for new advertisers using phone, email and face to face meetings.
A solid understanding of digital marketing will be critical for success and must be able to adapt to change as we grow in the digital space. Employees will present marketing solutions including traditional print media, online banner display, targeted digital ads, search engine optimization, and social media platforms just to name a few. This is an established account base, but a successful candidate will look to grow the number of clients we work with. This position is remote although it is preferred the candidate resides in Iowa.

Responsibilities
- Develop recommendations based on customer needs and objectives for livestock accounts (barns and producers).
- Engage in inbound and outbound sales activities with a focus on the livestock industry.
- Prospect for new advertisers via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings; cold calling as required.
- Present marketing solutions across traditional print media and digital channels (online banner display, targeted digital ads, SEO, social media).
- Maintain and grow an established account base while seeking opportunities to expand the client list.
- Adapt to changes in the digital space and effectively communicate marketing options.
Qualifications
- Experience in sales and customer service, with a strong emphasis on the livestock industry.
- Marketing knowledge and understanding of livestock markets and customers.
- Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to cold call and prospect new advertisers; proficient with phone, email, and in-person outreach.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing and the ability to present a range of marketing solutions.
- Remote work acceptable; preferred to reside in Iowa.
