Territory Manager - Virginia Beach - Norfolk - Newport News, VA

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager to secure new business and independently manage a sales area (often remote from Kestra main offices) in a mixture of clinical settings. The role involves direct sales responsibilities for the assigned territory, training, ongoing product service and support, and assistance in the reimbursement process.

Overview

Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr — $100,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Kestra has over 400 years of combined experience in external and internal cardiac medical device markets and offers wearable design focused on patient comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the sales and ongoing support of Kestra products
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and performance-based objectives
  • Grow and develop trusted partner relationships with key accounts and stakeholders within the territory
  • Prepare quarterly Business Plans and present to Regional Sales Leadership
  • Adhere to Kestra policies and procedures for budgeted expenses
  • Attend key exhibits and conventions as required
  • Coordinate patient interaction with Clinical Advisors and Customer Care team
  • Provide timely feedback to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to implement market strategies
  • Manage sales cycle from introduction to product delivery
  • Build long-term partnerships from sales calls and manage the pipeline of customers
  • Maintain positive client relationships and respond to client issues and complaints
  • Maintain records and sales data
  • Adhere to Pledge of Confidentiality regarding patient information

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of successful medical device sales experience
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Must reside in the assigned territory
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle report
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen; excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with MS Office (including MS Teams)
  • Post-offer credentialing for hospital systems (including vaccination verification, background check, drug screening, HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogens, Electrical/Fire Safety, and hospital policies)
  • Preferred: experience with Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, or Cath Lab settings; knowledge of DME process flow
  • Internal candidates without required experience may be considered if performance aligns with sales expectations and they have served in a sales support role

Supervisory and Work Environment

  • Supervisory responsibilities: None
  • Work environment: Fast-paced field role; noise typical of field/clinical settings; extended hours as needed; drug-free workplace; post-offer credentialing requirements for hospital entry

Physical Demands

  • Frequent computer use; ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed
  • Frequent standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Frequent travel up to 90% domestically
