How You Will Contribute

As the Technical Trade Promotion Management (TPM) Data Analyst, you will spearhead the technical data aspects of our trade promotion management initiatives. Your role is to ensure the data integrity and integration flow of TPM software and systems. This includes understanding the end-to-end data flow, data integrity, and data reconciliation to support effective trade promotion strategies. You will collaborate closely with IT, sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure the data that is consumed by and sent from the TPM system is reliable and fit for purpose. The leader in this role will need to have a combination of technology expertise, data analytics, and strong sales functional knowledge. They will drive the Salesforce TPM data strategy, data validation, insights and improvement roadmap, managing prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business impact, performance, and post-launch activities in the US and Canada. Technical TPM Data Analyst is a member of the Mondelez Digital Services North America Commercial Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data knowledge: Understand the entire data flow for TPM-related data including from SAP/S4, external trade management platforms, GCP data lake, o9, and Tableau reporting.
  • Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity within TPM systems, overseeing data integration, validation, and analysis processes.
  • Technical Data Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for TPM data, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
  • Data Optimization: Identify opportunities for improved data flow or usage, working with vendors and internal teams to implement solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, sales, marketing, and finance, to align TPM systems with business needs.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Utilize TPM systems to generate insightful reports and analytics, supporting data-driven decision-making for trade promotions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in a data analytics role with Sales data
  • Prior experience in the CPG (Consumer Product Goods) industry is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Accenture/Salesforce or other comparable Trade Promotion Management systems
  • Knowledge of Sales Trade Management processes and/or applications
  • Knowledge of Data & Analytics solutions
  • Extensive experience interfacing with Key Stakeholders:
    • External - 3rd party consultants (e.g. System Integrators and Consultants) Strategic Partners
    • Internal – Sales MDS Functional Teams and other functional partners listed in original description

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $95,100 to $130,800; the exact salary depends on experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
