Overview
Specialist, Recruitment Marketing and Digital Content. This role supports DCPS Talent Acquisition by creating and managing recruitment marketing and digital content to attract instructional staff, school leaders, and related service providers. The Specialist reports to the Manager, Teacher Recruitment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supports the Talent Acquisition team in implementing an aggressive and innovative national strategy for recruiting instructional staff, school leaders, and related service providers to join DCPS. Facilitates seamless and efficient execution of candidate selection processes. Author and execute clear, specific, and strategic communications to internal and external audiences aligned with the district’s vision and priorities. Manage digital marketing and outreach strategy for recruiting candidates to various DCPS positions. Drive development and execution of social media strategy and create social media campaigns to support recruitment and selection priorities. Create and maintain a user-friendly resource bank for candidates applying to instructional, school leader, and related-service provider positions, and for transferring teachers. Author and manage internal emails and newsletters for candidates, central office staff, and DCPS staff, and external communications for various audiences and stakeholders. Create, edit, update content, and ensure brand continuity for the recruitment microsite and related pages on the DCPS website. Manage multiple DCPS candidate email accounts to monitor requests and respond accordingly. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and project success, including urgent requests from stakeholders. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and three to five years of related work experience. Master’s degree preferred. Experience in the education sector a plus. Experience designing strategy for and leveraging digital media, including social media platforms (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram). Exceptional writing, editing, and oral communications skills, especially under time constraints. Experience crafting strategic, culturally-responsive communications for diverse audiences. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed. Willingness to work non-standard hours to achieve program and district goals. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. DCPS Values
