Telecommunications Specialist
This is a high-visibility role supporting a mission-critical program for a premier federal law enforcement agency. The Telecommunications Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring timely, efficient communications and IT support to hundreds of users in a high-security environment. You will directly contribute to the operational readiness and effectiveness of federal law enforcement operations. The selected candidate will strengthen their expertise in telecommunications and IT service management, federal contract execution, and customer engagement. The candidate will provide telecommunications and IT support for the FBI's Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG). Required Qualifications: Five (5) years documented experience in telecommunications, communication systems technician support, including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, computer science systems Shall be able to carry communications equipment up to 70 lbs Shall be able to climb on or under small or large vehicles Top Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain SCI access Desired Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of telecommunications management; Ability to develop and implement mission-specific communication plans; Have a working knowledge and demonstrate experience with the operational procedures used for a Tactical Operation Center (TOC) or equivalent operational center; Operational knowledge of cryptographic encryption devices; Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge and understanding of deployment, operation, and maintenance of video teleconferencing systems. Ability to perform general maintenance and cleaning on vehicles and facilities.
