WOC Ministry in Richmond Virginia is in need of an Volunteer Graphic Designer or Social Media Specialist in Branding.
WOC is a small organization that is currently working on marketing strategies of their organization. on social media and email. or any other form of presentation.
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
Below are the qualifications that are expected of a graphic designer:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a creative field OR at least 4 years of full-time work experience.
Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, QuarkXPress, and Illustrator.
We work with WordPress for our website building, so proficiency in it would be preferable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of two years experience in graphic design
We accept students needing CPT/OPT hours. Please let us know in your first email to us along with information about your deadline dates, etc.
Attention to detail
Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects
Strong analytical skills
Time management and organizational skills
Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
Experience with both print and digital media
Our Business hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm Eastern Std. Time, so you will need to schedule your hours with us during the aforementioned hours.
