Job Summary

Festival Mixologists Support Staff ensures the smooth execution of crafted cocktails across multiple bar locations on site. From batching premium cocktail recipes, prepping garnishes, supporting bar staff and helping to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Receives all liquor, beer and wine from storeroom on a daily basis and as needed. Replenishes all liquor, beer and wine as needed in the bar throughout the shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Batch and prepare large volumes of signature cocktails according to precise recipes.
• Maintain quality, consistency, and freshness across all batches throughout the festival.
• Replace cocktail kegs and troubleshoot/change CO2 lines and regulators as needed to ensure taps are working properly.
• Monitor pressure levels and ensure proper beverage flow for all batched cocktails.
• Cut, prep, and organize fresh garnishes for all bar locations.
• Retrieve all needed beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and deliver to bar area.
• Assist in opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Buses tables in bar area.
• Help ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas; washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and floors under equipment; sweeps and mops service areas.
• Ensure rubbish is removed from all receptacles.
• Prepare and serve beverages as needed to assist bartender.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• ServSafe Responsible Alcohol certification required.
• Must be 21+ and able to work flexible festival hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Availability to work shifts that may be early mornings, late nights and extended hours based on festival needs.
• All state mandated food and beverage service certification required.
