We are currently seeking a Dir - Advanced Digital Advertising Sales Operations to join our Commercial Sales & Revenue Operations team based in our New York, New York Headquarters.

Overview

AMCN Networks is seeking an imaginative Associate Director, Advanced Advertising Sales Operations at AMC Networks to support the product and operational future of our advertising business. Reporting to the VP, Advanced Advertising this executive will assist in building, collaborating, and maintenance of a sustainable Digital Advertising monetization strategy. This role is responsible for driving innovation in ad technology and business models, expanding diversified revenue streams, and aligning with Ad Sales on how advertising evolves across our distribution networks and owned-and-operated SVOD platforms.

Job Responsibilities

  • Aid in the evolution of AMCN’s Advanced Advertising products and strategies in anever-changing landscape
  • Work cross-functionally to help support conversation amongst key stakeholders andcollaborators across the organization to build and execute product strategy
  • Maintain end-to-end implementation, configuration, and ongoing operation of our adserver platforms. This includes technical integration, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Closely collaborate with BI, Sales, P&I, Research and Ad Ops to define, specify and driveThe execution of AMCN’s segmentation and data offerings
  • Implement and enforce strict ad quality guidelines and ensure compliance with allrelevant industry standards, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and internal policies
  • Support Account Executives/Managers to help build, steward and report out onadvanced campaigns
  • Partner closely with Adtech, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Legal teams to ensureseamless ad product development, integration, and compliance
  • Help in refining the overall ad operations strategy, better aligning with businessobjectives to maximize revenue
  • Support organization on all audience-based buying solutions, most notably addressableand data-driven buying
  • Assist platform and partner relationships to encourage growth

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in ad operations
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive “can do” and “rolled up your sleeves” attitude with a constant drive to iterate and improve
  • Understanding of Ad Serving Ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, Exchanges, Networks, AdServers, etc.)
  • Understanding of CTV environments (vMVPDs, OTT, Addressable TV, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Video Ad Serving Protocols (VAST, VPAID, OpenRTB)
  • The ability to explain complex technical requirements and ideas to both technical andcommercially focused people both internally and externally
  • Strong work ethic and time management skills. Self-starter individual who thrives infast-changing and dynamic environment
  • Experience in troubleshooting and working through issues with third-party technologyvendors including DSPs, DMPs, and Ad servers
  • Knowledge and experience working with advertising reporting, analysis systems, andtools
  • Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

The base compensation range for this position is $115,000 to $145,000 commensurate with experience.
