Base pay range : $56,160.00 / yr - $72,800.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Provide quality group and individual treatment to psychiatric patients.
• Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization\'s treatment program and philosophy.
• Conduct adjunctive therapy assessments, documenting history and identifying issues for treatment.
• Deliver individual and group treatments using various modalities from your discipline and training background.
• Attend treatment team meetings to provide expressive, recreational, and life skills therapy perspectives.
• Report patient issues to community / state agencies as required.
• Adhere to Aurora\'s ethical standards and facility safety protocols.
• Participate in customer service activities and other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree in relevant fields (e.g., recreation therapy, music therapy, occupational therapy, or related disciplines).
• Master\'s Degree in relevant fields (e.g., art therapy, dance / movement therapy, drama therapy).
• Certification preferred.
• Mental health experience preferred.
• Knowledge of acute psychological disorders and advanced principles of abnormal psychology.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers following American Heart Association guidelines.
