We’re seeking a skilled Contract Video Editor to handle our full spectrum of video content needs, from quick-turn social edits to long-form YouTube videos and broadcast-ready TV spots. While the primary focus will be on editing, this role will also include occasional run-and-gun style local shoots to capture content as needed. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and knows how to adapt content for multiple platforms while maintaining brand consistency.

Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Edit high-quality video content for social media, YouTube, and occasionally CTV.
  • Adapt long-form content into short-form clips optimized for each platform.
  • Ensure all videos align with brand identity, tone, and creative direction.
  • Manage post-production workflow including color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
  • Organize and maintain video assets and project files for easy collaboration.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to bring campaign ideas to life.
  • Support local run-and-gun shoots, including filming short segments, behind-the-scenes content, and product features.
  • Stay up to date on video trends, editing techniques, and platform best practices.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience editing for brands, agencies, or media companies (apparel/retail experience a plus).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related editing software.
  • Strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects on tight timelines.
  • Experience shooting with DSLR/mirrorless cameras in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
  • Basic knowledge of lighting and audio capture for field shoots.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to take creative direction.
  • Portfolio/reel showcasing previous work across social and YouTube
  • Part-time/contract position with flexible hours based on project load.
  • Must be available for occasional local shoots
  • Compensation: Competitive, based on experience.
