We are seeking a dynamic and talented Media Supervisor whose role is primarily responsible for total media planning (traditional & digital channels) and services on the accounts assigned to him/her. They supervise Media Associates assigned to those accounts which are the Media Supervisor's primary responsibility. They have a strong working knowledge of the media space and an ability to lead plan development and provide strategic recommendations to the senior management and/or client. They are also able to lead the setup, execution, and reporting on all facets of a plan and present results.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Associate Media Director, interpret briefs, ask clarifying questions, coordinate all steps required to piece together media plan/recommendation, and integrate, as necessary, all assigned media activities, including a presentation to seamless team leads and the client
  • Work with AMD & Planning team to lead the development of target insights, utilizing research tools and resources to aid in planning recommendations and campaign development
  • Determine and supervise the best possible implementation of all approved media plans and projects, leading relationships and processes with production, account and dev teams to execute
  • Present, lead development and finalize report presentations with assistance from Associates
  • Lead client budget management and the billing process, monitoring and assisting Associates
  • Train associates in preparing, evaluating, and implementing media plans, as well as setup, execution, and reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in Media at an agency
  • Strong understanding of both awareness and performance digital media channels and strategies
  • Experience with DoubleClick and other 3rd party tracking solutions preferred
  • Experience with Self-Serve Programmatic DSPs, DFA, Facebook UI/FBX preferred
  • Ability to analyze data and understand measurement practices and web analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Supervisory Responsibilities

Direct Reports: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports.

Indirect Reports: May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports.

Travel

Travel and driving are not essential duties or functions of this job.

Environment, Physical & Other Requirements

Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.

Office / Non-Sedentary Requirements: Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment. Typical activities may include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds in certain percentages of time.
