Women Living Well Ministries (WLWM) is dedicated to fulfilling the ministries' mission. We are seeking an intern or volunteer Social Media Coordinator to help integrate non-profit and social media marketing together to promote WLWM. Serving as a volunteer Social Media Coordinator is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is gifted and passionate with connecting WLWM with people utilizing social media to further assist with the development of further growing this organization with strengthening women growing in their faith, as well as, equipping and empowering women ministry leaders to fulfilling their call to building disciples of Jesus Christ.
The Social Media Coordinator position is one that is flexible and could be managed by one who has an already full-time position where the work is completed after hours of a daily work schedule. There is also flexibility around scheduled vacations, and one can work from home. The position is needed to intern/volunteer 6 to 7 hours a week for nine months (or longer if desired) to assist with connecting WLWM with people utilizing social media. Requirement to attend once a week phone conference as well as maintaining open communication via email is vital.
Candidate will need to possess the following skills: a creative and professional writing style for press releases, gifted in marketing and promotional skill-set, efficient, knowledgeable on how to use the Internet (Twitter/Facebook/Pinterest/TV & Radio stations websites), ability to use Microsoft Office software - Word, and must have a strong biblical foundation and knowledge integrating faith into social media avenues.
Encouraged preferences: Enjoy being creative, works as a team player and has good communication skills. The ideal candidate will bring a social media lens to strategic planning and decision-making and be a resource to both the President, staff and the Board of Directors. This individual is encouraged to have prior nonprofit experience and knowledge, and must have social media writing, training and/or experience of 3 years.
