Job Description

• Develop clear and concise operational instructions for process manuals, and other documents.
• Collaborate with Core team (operators union members), safety team, engineers and product managers to understand product specifications and requirements.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear and accurate instructions.
• Conduct interviews with and observe work performed by various users (Operators Union employees) to gather data for documentation. - Start-up / Shutdown / Changeovers / etc.
• Gather photographs and other useful media to enhance and provide visual clarification of documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in training or equivalent combination of education experience or technical writer
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a technical writer or service writer, (food industry or related)
• Solid technical writing skills, including the ability to research and document functionality, protocols and processes
• Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading and editing skills along with strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Exceptional ability in creating technical documentation for non-technical persons.
