Overview

Huntington Learning Center offers tutoring for children ages 5 to 17 in Reading, Writing, Mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics), Study Skills, Phonics, Vocabulary, Science, Test Prep, High School Entrance Exam preparation, and SAT/PSAT & ACT preparation.

Tutors complete intensive initial and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and curriculum to ensure a successful educational experience for students.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality tutoring to students in the subjects listed above.
• Follow Huntington curriculum and teaching methods.
• Attend training sessions and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Create a positive, supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with families and staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified teachers must provide a copy of their teaching certificate.
• Minimum 4-year diploma for all tutors.
• SAT/ACT tutors must provide SAT/ACT scores or be willing to take an evaluation.

Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students.
