Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will conceptualize and execute interior and architectural design solutions that balance functionality, aesthetics, and budget. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and contractors to develop design concepts, select materials and furnishings, and create inspiring spaces that reflect each client’s vision and lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand needs, preferences, and budgets, and translate them into comprehensive design programs.
• Develop innovative design concepts, mood boards, sketches, and space plans that optimize functionality and flow.
• Source and select furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories, ensuring alignment with design intent, budget, and timeline.
• Research and specify materials, finishes, and textiles with attention to durability, sustainability, and visual appeal.
• Create cohesive color palettes and design schemes that enhance mood and usability.
• Produce detailed 2D and 3D models, renderings, and presentation boards using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction and renovation projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to manage timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee installation and procurement of furnishings and finishes.
• Present design proposals to clients through presentations, material boards, and virtual walkthroughs, and gather feedback for revisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional interior design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with AI design tools such as Spacemaker, Mid-Journey, or Adobe Firefly is a plus.
• Strong design sensibility with a keen eye for color, texture, scale, and proportion.
• Knowledge of space planning, design principles, and building codes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management abilities.
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Certification or licensure in interior design.
