Position Overview
The Producer of Smosh Games plays a central role in developing and delivering comedic gaming content across YouTube and social platforms. Reporting to the Director of Smosh Games, this position blends creativity, coordination, and comedic instinct to support the day-to-day production of flagship Smosh Games content. Key Responsibilities
- Content Development Support ideation and help shape unscripted comedy-forward gaming formats (RPGs, Tabletop, Video Games, etc.)
- Support Pre-Production & Shoot Logistics Coordinate with production on pitch forms, call sheets, casting, and talent releases. Own and direct episodes when assigned, and make sure shoot days run smoothly and collaboratively.
- Oversee Post-Production Partner with editors to shape story arcs, guide tone, and finalize episodes for publishing in partnership with the social team.
- Collaborate Across Teams Maintain open lines of communication with cast, crew, post, and channel directors to keep creative and production aligned.
- Support Branded Integrations Partner with the Brand Partnerships and Production teams to bring sponsored content to life, ensuring brand expectations are met without compromising Smosh Games' voice.
Preferred Qualifications
- 24 years producing digital content (especially gaming, comedy, or creator-led formats)
- Confident directing talent and collaborating with cast, crew, and freelance creatives
- Strong familiarity with gaming platforms, trends, and storytelling formats
- Experience with post-production workflows and giving editorial feedback
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite, and Monday.com
- Known for follow-through, flexibility, and a positive, team-oriented mindset
