Overview

The Content Consultant at Docebo is responsible for partnering with our presales and Customer Experience (CX) teams to advise prospects and customers on their learning content strategy. This role involves conducting discovery calls, understanding client needs, and providing expert advice on off-the-shelf content. The Content Consultant will become Docebo’s resident expert on eLearning content and the surrounding industry.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery calls with potential clients to understand their learning and development needs, organizational goals, and maturity level in LMS and eLearning technology
  • Identify the nature of off-the-shelf content that potential clients are seeking and provide expert recommendations for their specific use cases
  • Demonstrate Docebo’s Content Marketplace and showcase its capabilities to potential clients
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized proposals, including recommendations for content pieces that align with clients\' learning and development objectives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to potential clients and current customers, providing guidance on content strategy and how to leverage Docebo\'s content offerings effectively
  • Develop and deliver training materials and presentations on Docebo’s content solutions, covering training material creation and off-the-shelf offerings
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in eLearning and content development
  • Attend eLearning industry conferences, gather insights, and work with the partnerships team to identify top-quality vendors
  • Contribute to the development of Docebo’s overarching content strategy

What it takes to be successful

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, self-motivated and results-oriented, with a keen understanding of eLearning content styles and providers
  • Ability to collaborate with sales and other internal teams and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in consulting or solution selling, with a proven track record of helping organizations achieve their goals
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Professional background in L&D, SaaS, or experience working with an LMS is a bonus
  • Familiarity with content creation tools such as Lectora, Articulate, Camtasia, or Captivate is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of eLearning content styles and providers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency using the Google suite of tools
  • Understanding of LMS content and its application in learning and development
