Responsibilities

To design, direct, coordinate and produce visual materials for Mayo Foundation and Mayo affiliates in a variety of mediums including: books, magazines, brochures, physical displays, posters and electronic mediums including web design, electronic presentations, and multimedia products. The Creative Design Assistant Director provides art direction, proof checks, outsourcing management, image manipulation, job bidding, and direct customer consultation as an integral team member in addition to normal production activities.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Design Technology or related field from an accredited university, college or school of design. Two-year minimum employment experience required. Portfolio required for review. Incumbents must have thorough knowledge of typography, type design, form and color theory, proportion and balance, photographic and computer imaging techniques, electronic layout skills, exhibit/display knowledge and experience with unit-specific software programs. Candidates must be flexible, resourceful, possess strong project management and interpersonal skills, and effectively meet deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work independently, give and receive clear direction, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Schedule and Location

Schedule: Full Time; Hours/Pay Period: 80; 100% Remote. Monday - Friday, normal business hours. Remote work from any location within the US. This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship/ we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position.
