This position is full-time, requires a hybrid work schedule, and is only available in New York City.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will represent a mix of creative creator-first thinking and strategic reasoning alongside strong written and verbal skills to articulate not only the team’s ideas, but also the value behind them. As a senior leader of the team, your responsibility will be guiding clients, growing and mentoring junior staff, and championing great creator work.
- Play a lead role in the agency’s NYC Creators & Casting team, leading a talented group of creator strategists ranging from associate to senior-level
- Demonstrate a strong point of view on what makes great creative influencer work, and not be afraid to share it with both internal teams and clients
- Define, shape and sell creator and influencer ideas that consistently tie back to brand brief & strategy
- Shepherd and guide the work, poking holes, asking questions and pushing to make the work the best it can be
- Build impactful partnerships & relationships with clients
- Demonstrate consistent curiosity and learning within the creator and digital industries, with a finger on the pulse of what is happening in culture, across categories
- Build industry relationships and extend the Day One community
- Support relevant new business projects as needed, including team oversight, shaping RFP and pitch responses, shepherding winning creative and presenting to prospective clients.
- The ideal candidate will be exceptionally buttoned-up and process-driven—meticulous about workflows, checks, and documentation—while also bringing a fearless, creatively curious mindset to problem-solving and campaign ideation. Your creative instincts push every campaign to stand out.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience, managing or contributing to influencer and creator work
- Demonstrated team player working among different departments including creative, earned media, and social
- Experience in leading and mentoring a diverse team, exemplifying excellent judgment and people skills
- Experience overseeing influencer strategy, negotiations, contracting, execution and measurement
- Experience thinking through both tactics and the big picture
- Experience ideating and articulating the why and the how of an idea
- Understanding of both major and emerging social platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Leadership and creative problem solving skills
- Demonstrated passion for people, organization, and an excitement to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment
- Expert knowledge of how paid, earned, and owned channels work together
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $150,000-$190,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates' relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
