About The Role

As an individual contributor, Game Publishing Producer, you will support the launch and publishing of our subscription-based mobile game offerings in our Game Vault. You will work with multiple departments internally and external developers to guide workback schedules, mitigate risk, and help ensure a smooth and scalable games operations from start to finish. You will be a critical liaison between the production, marketing, product, and analytics teams, overseeing simultaneous releases across multiple platforms and ensuring alignment. This role is ideal for a detail-driven operator who is passionate about games, anime, and bringing engaging experiences to life. In the role, you will report to the Senior Director of Production. We are considering applicants for the location of Los Angeles or San Francisco.

Core Area of Responsibility

• Publishing & Game Production: Oversee our game publishing from start to finish, including developer onboarding, milestone management, game submissions, and store page submissions.
• QA & Platform Ops collaboration to ensure builds meet quality, technical, and compliance requirements, including Crunchyroll Login integrations.
• Support game launches, content updates, and ongoing feature deployments across multiple titles and platforms.
• Act as operational contact for external developers, enforcing milestone approvals/disapprovals per contracts or internal processes.
• Identify risks early and remove roadblocks and bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with marketing, brand, platform, and customer experience teams to prepare for releases and align throughout a game's lifecycle.
• Familiarize yourself by playing produced games and participate in our curation process for future mobile titles.

About You

• 5+ years of games industry experience, including mobile, PC, and console platforms.
• 4+ years of publishing and production experience in games.
• Experience managing end-to-end production workflows autonomously.
• Experience balancing publisher needs with production realities, at the intersection of creative, technical, and business goals.
• Urgency to start and see initiatives through.
• Experience driving alignment between external development partners and multiple internal departments through nuanced communications.
• Experience with project management, communication, and documentation to create clarity and accountability across teams.
• Understanding of anime fandom and what makes anime-inspired gaming resonate with audiences.
• Experience delivering process efficiencies through optimization.
• Experience with store page optimization on App Store and Google Play.

Pay and Diversity

Pay range listed for San Francisco, CA: $132,000 — $165,000 USD. Actual pay varies by location, experience, and performance.
