Behance, Corona, CA, United States, 92878
Overview
Project Manager (ArchViz Studio)
Location: Remote (preferred working hours overlapping EST)
Studio: Renderbox Studios
About Us
Renderbox Studios is a high-end 3D architectural rendering studio specializing in hyperreal exteriors, interiors, animations, and immersive visuals for custom home builders, architects, and developers. With multiple ongoing projects across the U.S., we’re looking to bring on a Project Manager experienced in ArchViz to help us streamline operations, manage deliverables, and keep our creative team aligned with client expectations.
The Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Project Manager who has worked in the architectural visualization (ArchViz) space. The ideal candidate understands the unique demands of rendering projects—balancing creative direction, technical workflows, and client communication.
You’ll work closely with our Creative Director and senior artists to:
- Oversee multiple rendering projects simultaneously (residential & commercial)
- Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables from intake to final delivery
- Coordinate across a distributed team of 3D artists and designers
- Ensure smooth communication with clients, artists, and vendors
- Track progress, handle bottlenecks, and maintain accountability
Tools & Platforms We Use
- Monday.com – project & lead tracking
- Miro.com – camera selection, mood boards, and collaborative visuals
- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meet) – client communications & file sharing
- Familiarity with rendering workflows (3ds Max, Corona, Revit, SketchUp, etc.) is a plus, but not required—you won’t be producing renders, just managing the process.
Commitment & Typical Workload
Based on our current project flow (around 20 concurrent projects), we estimate:
- Daily check-ins & updates: 15–30 min per project per day (tracking artist progress, reviewing Monday.com, updating clients)
- Client communications: 2–4 hrs/week across all projects (status updates, follow-ups, calls)
- Internal coordination: 3–5 hrs/week (assigning tasks, checking briefs, making sure references are logged properly, chasing missing files)
- Admin & organization: 2–3 hrs/week (updating boards, cleaning files/folders, keeping timelines accurate)
That equals ~15–20 hrs/week, depending on project intensity.
Intended Schedule
Mon–Fri: 3–4 hrs/day → Keeps momentum without being overkill.
We’ll start with ~10-15 hrs/week, with potential to expand as our workload grows.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience managing projects in an ArchViz, architectural, or design studio
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and team members with ease
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving scopes
- Self-starter who can take ownership and streamline processes
- Must be able to work in sync with Eastern Standard Time (U.S.)
Why Join Us
- Work with a creative, growing studio delivering high-end architectural visuals
- Remote, flexible role with opportunities for long-term collaboration
- Exposure to a wide variety of U.S. and international projects
- A culture that values both artistic excellence and operational efficiency
