Overview
We are seeking a UI/UX Designer to join our Lynx team—a collaborative, Agile group including product managers, designers, engineers, and QA specialists working across the U.S. and offshore, with Scrum ceremonies held in Pacific Time.
The role will support a specialty healthcare inventory management platform (such as oncology, rheumatology, etc.).
We\'re seeking a mid-level UI/UX Designer to transform complex healthcare pharmacy infusion workflows into intuitive digital experiences. You\'ll leverage AI tools and user-centric design principles. The role requires expertise in design systems, interaction design, and visual design to create scalable, compelling user experiences across the web platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Research
- Conduct remote user research and usability testing using specialized methodologies for clinical environments
- Create cross-platform wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for desktop, tablet, and web applications
- Transform legacy workflows using Design Thinking and Lean UX methodologies
- Design AI recommendation integration into clinical workflows and decision-making processes
- Create detailed UX documentation, including user flows, interaction models, and specifications
- Design Systems & Development Collaboration
- Build and evolve a comprehensive design system in Figma, including design tokens, interaction patterns, and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Partner with engineering teams to maintain design-development alignment across tools such as Storybook, Zeroheight, and Supernova
- Contribute to component libraries and ensure consistent UI implementation across products
- Document designs in Confluence with version control and design system governance
- User-Centered Design & Strategy
- Advocate for the Voice of the Customer and synthesize user research to inform design decisions
- Lead the design of responsive, accessible, and engaging interfaces
- Stay current with UI/UX trends and integrate best practices into design processes
- Measure design success through task completion rates, error reduction, and workflow efficiency
- Collaboration & Delivery
- Partner with Product Managers, engineers, clinical stakeholders, and offshore teams
- Deliver design presentations and demonstrations to customers and leadership
- Implement A/B testing and facilitate stakeholder alignment workshops
Education
Bachelor’s degree in design HCI, Psychology, or related field, or have equivalent work experience.
Critical Skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience in UX/UI design, interaction design, or usability engineering
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered interactive designs and rapid prototyping for responsive web applications
- Expert proficiency in Figma, plus experience with Axure RP, Miro, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Familiarity with MS Office, Fullstory, Confluence, Jira, and cloud-based product management tools
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (React/Next.js/Angular)
- Experience creating site maps, flow diagrams, and wireframes
- Excellent visual, written, and interactive communication skills
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles
- Experience in Agile, fast-paced environments with iterative design processes
- AI design tools and workflow integration experience
- Design system governance and component library management
Preferred Experience
- Cross-platform optimization for clinical environments or regulated industries
- Clinical decision support and practice management workflows
- UX metrics, behavioral analytics, and FullStory
- Conducting heuristic evaluations, usability tests, and user research
- Leading concept and ideation sessions with cross-functional teams
Travel
- Up to 25% for customer visits and research

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$113,800 - $189,600
