Visual Content Manager, Production Specialist
Location: Mayfield Heights, OH
A fused role of content curation/management and production specialist includes combining skills for brand awareness, and eye for the brand and consistency in planning and production overall. The Visual Content Manager, Production Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and executing tasks to support the production needs and goals of Creative, Production Director, as well as Corporate Leadership.
As content management, this role is to create and manage content for a company to establish its online presence and brand identity. As Visual Content Manager, the position would be responsible for helping create a photographic brand identity and direction for the Hanna family of companies to use. As well as working with Creative Services to curate and select imagery for day-to-day projects (where applicable) but also for larger, company-wide initiatives where a large, in-brand photo presence is needed. Working with production and management on the photographing and logistics of capturing corporate events, how the images will be shared/distributed, and what the end use of them will be.
This candidate is someone who has excellent organizational skills, good creative instincts, and can quickly adapt to and excel in a fast-paced environment. This position is crucial in the pre-production stage. Being able to work under pressure with tight deadlines is a must. Attention to detail, exceptional command of the English language, and strong organizational skills will be beneficial in this position. Content managers need to be creative and have leadership skills. They also need to keep up with digital trends and platform updates and may work in high-pressure environments and directly contribute to their brand's online success.
This position reports to the Creative Production Director and is a brokerage position.
Responsibilities
- Researching and creating content: Content can include multimedia articles, blog posts, images, or videos. Content managers use information about their target audience's demographics and preferences to create content that raises brand awareness and engages customers.
- Formulating content strategies: Content managers use analytics to help develop their strategies.
- Writing, editing, and proofreading: Content managers may write and edit copy, and edit videos.
- Production Specialist
- Assist in development, communication, and execution of production needs for the company as a whole
- Plan, schedule and execute needs & details of production shoots for:
- Production Director, Shannon Barr
- Executives, when involved
- Outside film/production companies
- Capture meeting notes and carry out follow ups
- Carefully craft budgets for every production project
- Manage production calendar and ensure we’re on track to meet annual goals and alongside the Project Manger
- Work directly with Chief Marketing Officer, Leah Gibbons on corporate projects
- Foster relationships with sports partners, ensuring they have all assets needed for promo (as assigned)
- Collaborate with the Creative Services Team to ensure all necessary creative is in process for production projects
- Maintain current knowledge on the market and industry trends
Additional Responsibilities
- Help build a photographic brand standard for Howard Hanna and it’s family of companies.
- Working with (Production) and (Creative Services) to set up, curate, and photograph photo shoots annually for the annual reports as well as other larger company-wide initiatives
- Curate and build a library of photographs that accurately and appropriately depict the Howard Hanna brand and the message we are trying to convey (selling, buying, agents, clients, etc – both with both internal images taken as well as with stock photography where needed)
- Curate and work with Creative Services on approving imagery
- Work with the production and comms teams on the photographing and logistics of capturing corporate events, how the images will be shared/distributed, and what the end use of them will be.
