Position: Landscape Designer/Sales
Location: Cypress, TX (in-person position)
Job Type: Full-time

We’re looking for a motivated and thoughtful Landscape Designer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong interest in design, plants, and outdoor spaces who’s also organized, dependable, and not afraid to get their hands a little dirty. You’ll work closely with our design staff, gaining real-world experience while assisting in both creative and physical aspects of our residential landscaping projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with, and create, 2D and 3D landscape designs based on client goals, site conditions, and style preferences
  • Participate in on-site consultations, take property measurements, and help document project details
  • Help revise design drafts, prepare plant palettes, and organize care instructions
  • Occasionally run errands to pick up samples or materials
  • Assist with light hands-on tasks, such as planting or helping with layout on install days
  • Maintain organized records and support the staff with both office and field tasks

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Houston-area landscaping plants
  • Knowledge of common Houston hardscaping materials
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and working outdoors as needed
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to learn design software and internal systems

Huge Bonus If You Have:

  • Experience with hand-drawing, layout tools, or design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Pool Studio, etc.)
  • Familiarity with outdoor lighting or hardscaping
  • Familiarity with drainage and irrigation systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary plus commission on sold jobs
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • Paid holidays
  • Healthcare stipend
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Company vehicle and gas card for work-related travel

Work Environment:
This role is primarily based in the office but includes regular time in the field, especially during measurements, installations, and warranty visits. You’ll need to be comfortable working both at a desk and outdoors in Houston weather. We’re looking for someone who is not only capable, but also enjoys variety, problem-solving, and seeing beautiful projects come to life.

If you’re someone who’s smart, reliable, and eager to grow in a creative field, we’d love to hear from you.
