Position: Landscape Designer/Sales
Location: Cypress, TX (in-person position)
Job Type: Full-time
We’re looking for a motivated and thoughtful Landscape Designer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong interest in design, plants, and outdoor spaces who’s also organized, dependable, and not afraid to get their hands a little dirty. You’ll work closely with our design staff, gaining real-world experience while assisting in both creative and physical aspects of our residential landscaping projects.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with, and create, 2D and 3D landscape designs based on client goals, site conditions, and style preferences
- Participate in on-site consultations, take property measurements, and help document project details
- Help revise design drafts, prepare plant palettes, and organize care instructions
- Occasionally run errands to pick up samples or materials
- Assist with light hands-on tasks, such as planting or helping with layout on install days
- Maintain organized records and support the staff with both office and field tasks
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Houston-area landscaping plants
- Knowledge of common Houston hardscaping materials
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients
- Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and working outdoors as needed
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to learn design software and internal systems
Huge Bonus If You Have:
- Experience with hand-drawing, layout tools, or design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Pool Studio, etc.)
- Familiarity with outdoor lighting or hardscaping
- Familiarity with drainage and irrigation systems
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

Work Environment:
This role is primarily based in the office but includes regular time in the field, especially during measurements, installations, and warranty visits. You’ll need to be comfortable working both at a desk and outdoors in Houston weather.
