This individual is as comfortable writing a caption as they are analyzing performance data, supporting campaigns, or contributing ideas to push the brand forward. Role Responsibilities

As the Marketing Specialist at Construction Simplified, you are responsible for supporting and executing strategies that elevate the firms visibility, strengthen our brand, and engage both internal and external audiences. This role requires creativity, organization, and strong communication skills, while consistently aligning with our Mission, Vision, and Purpose and embracing and promoting the companys core values.

Communication of the Firms Mission, Vision, Purpose and Core Values

Actively embody and communicate the firms mission, vision, purpose, and values in all marketing initiatives. This involves serving as a brand ambassador in messaging, design, and execution, ensuring all internal and external communications reflect the culture, integrity, and energy of the firm.

Social Media & Digital Marketing

Lead the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across digital platforms. Responsibilities include coordinating photo and video shoots, repurposing long-form content into digital formats, organizing assets for future use, and generating engagement reports to measure performance and guide strategy.

Website & SEO

Maintain and update the company website by keeping project pages, blogs, and videos current. This includes monitoring for outdated content, supporting SEO upkeep through keyword optimization, and assisting with quarterly reporting to ensure visibility and accuracy.

Internal Marketing

Support internal communication efforts by maintaining and updating internal slides, signage, and templates. Assist with firm-wide events and initiatives to ensure consistent and clear messaging across the company.

Event & Project Marketing

Assist with event logistics, communications, and promotion while also managing project marketing needs. This includes collecting photos, videos, and testimonials, coordinating signage, and supporting milestone events such as groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings to showcase the firms work.

Collateral & Sales Materials

Maintain and update proposals, brochures, one-pagers, and other sales collateral. Organize these resources into a shared library to ensure the team has access to accurate, up-to-date materials that support business development efforts.

Email Marketing

Manage and update email lists while assisting with workflow creation, segmentation, and campaign scheduling. Build and distribute email campaigns that strengthen engagement with clients, partners, and industry audiences.

Branding, PR & Advertising

Support branding initiatives by maintaining templates, coordinating branded materials and swag, and ensuring consistency across all platforms. Track press mentions, organize backlinks, and assist in formatting, reporting, and monitoring advertising campaigns to maximize impact.

Experience Qualifications
  • 24 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong organization.
  • Proficiency in Canva; Adobe Suite experience preferred.
  • Bonus: Experience in AEC, real estate, development, or construction industries.

  • Competitive compensation based on experience, with performance-based bonuses. Salary starting at $65,000/yr.
