The Security Engineering Program (SEP) at Leidos is seeking a skilled Senior Radio Systems Technician to join our Professional Services Support (PSS) Program. In this role, you will provide both remote and on-site technical support for hardware, software, and communication networks across all locations within your designated area. We are looking for a candidate with expert knowledge in advanced technical principles and concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose technical issues and prepare reports analyzing performance deviations and serviceability.
• Manage and administer Communications Security (COMSEC) material.
• Provide on-site support and help develop policy changes.
• Oversee projects and processes, mentoring peers and ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Collaborate with internal experts to develop technical solutions for complex problems.
• Expect approximately 25% travel, with an initial peak of 45-50%.

Basic Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI and polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in telecommunications, electrical, and computer engineering, focusing on system operations and repair.
• Proficient with VSAT and mobile satellite platforms for multimedia communication.
• Experience in operating, programming UHF, VHF, and 700/800 MHz frequencies.
• Familiarity with COMSEC account management.
• Experience in wireless/wired telecommunications technologies and engaging with carrier representatives.
• Valid driver's license and normal color vision are required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying objects up to 45 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Land Mobile Radio Systems and Tactical Communications.

Pay Range: $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
