About this Opportunity:
This position is responsible for visually inspect & pack components and assemblies to ensure all operations were performed and no visual defects are present per M.O.I's and customer specification and paperwork by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
- Perform prepacking, gauging and visual inspection per M.O.I's Work Instructions; verify gauges are correct and calibrated prior to starting every operation as needed.
- Ensure product ID and traceability is maintained by accurately filling out required paperwork (Followers, Inspection Ticket, etc.)
- Accurately enter labor hours in MES; monitor personal time and attendance weekly.
- Properly disposes of scrap in designated containers.
- Monitor weekly inventory.
- Maintain and organized, clean and safe work environment by following 6S standards.
- Properly follow all H&M procedures and policies.
- Use correct P.P.E. per JHAs and Job Description.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities, including the Idea System.
- High School or Technical School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- 6 - 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to do basic math in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common factions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
