Baselayer is reinventing how financial institutions and government agencies prevent fraud and manage compliance. Founded in 2023 by fintech and AI veterans, we've raised $20M and scaled to $4M ARR faster than any identity company in history. Today, 2,000+ financial institutions and agencies trust Baselayer to keep them secure. We've just completed a full rebrand - now we're ready to activate it. We're looking for a marketer who can own demand generation, carry our voice into the market, and turn our brand into pipeline.

The Role

We're hiring a Demand Generation & Growth Marketing Manager to build Baselayer's marketing engine from the ground up. This is a hands-on role where you'll set the tone for how Baselayer shows up in the world, while directly driving pipeline growth. You'll run with email, social, content, events, and campaigns, and when something doesn't exist yet, you'll build it. You'll be the connective tissue between brand and revenue, working closely with sales, partnerships, and product to fuel growth.

What You'll Do
  • Own pipeline growth - design and launch multi-channel campaigns that drive qualified opportunities.
  • Run our brand voice across social, email, content, and thought leadership.
  • Build campaigns from scratch - outbound sequences, nurture flows, paid/organic experiments.
  • Activate the new brand across every touchpoint (landing pages, collateral, events, ads).
  • Partner with sales & partnerships to align messaging, support outbound, and fuel pipeline.
  • Lead demand gen experiments - A/B testing, funnels, attribution models.
  • Measure and report campaign performance tied directly to pipeline and revenue.
What You Bring
  • 3-8 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing (startup/scaleup strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record generating pipeline through campaigns, events, or outbound programs.
  • Hands-on with marketing automation + CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, etc.).
  • Comfort across channels: lifecycle email, social (LinkedIn, Twitter/X), landing pages, events.
  • Strong creative taste - you know what good content, copy, and design look like.
  • Data-driven mindset: you track funnels, test constantly, and push to move the needle.
  • Scrappy operator: you thrive without a big team or playbook, and you act like an owner.
  • Bonus: ABM, sales enablement, or fintech/identity space experience.

Base salary range: $150,000-$185,000, plus equity. Offers may vary based on experience, location, and other factors.
