POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Creative Services Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining the visual brand throughout the organization through the design of internal and external print material, store signage, advertising creative, and promotional material. This role collaborates across departments, and with strategic partner organizations to ensure effective communication and creative collateral design consistent with the Goodwill Southeast Georgia brand guidelines to provide strong visual impact with impactful messaging.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creative Services

* Ability to design for multiple audiences and marketing campaigns.

* Serve as the organization’s lead graphic designer, creating high-impact print and digital marketing materials, corporate publications, advertisements, and collateral in alignment with brand guidelines and marketing strategies.

* Design visual elements include graphics, layouts, and that effectively communicate key messages and reflect the desired tone and themes of campaigns and brand.

* Design visually distinctive assets, including infographics and illustrations, to communicate complex information in a clear and accessible way.

* Use professional design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) to execute creative assets, including image retouching, and print ready file preparation for print production.

* Recommend creative enhancements that elevate the brand’s visual identity while maintaining consistency with established guidelines.

* Design visually distinctive assets, including infographics and illustrations, to communicate complex information in a clear and accessible way.

* Work closely with the Senior Director, Marketing Specialty Services, to participate in project planning and design strategy discussions.

* Oversee digital and print projects from conception to delivery, with the ability to design both large and small scale projects.

* Collaborate with internal Marketing Team to develop targeted, integrated marketing campaigns.

* Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables meet quality standards, including handling multiple rounds of revisions.

* Maintain organized design files

Creative Services & Brand Development

* Serve as the organization’s lead graphic designer, producing high-impact print and digital materials including corporate publications, advertisements, and campaign collateral.

* Design visual elements—graphics, layouts, infographics, and illustrations—that effectively communicate key messages and reflect campaign tone and brand themes.

* Maintain and evolve the organization’s visual identity while ensuring consistency with established brand guidelines.

* Utilize generative AI tools, when appropriate in design and implementation

* Execute creative assets using professional design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), including image retouching and preparing files for print production.

* Oversee digital and print projects from concept to delivery, managing both large-scale and quick-turnaround assignments.

* Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop targeted, integrated campaigns that support organizational goals.

* Participate in project planning and design strategy discussions with the Director of Marketing & Communications.

* Manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables meet quality standards.

* Maintain organized and accessible design files for team use and archival purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

* College degree required, Marketing, graphic design, or communications preferred

* Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in marketing, graphic design, content creation, or brand development.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Experience with brand development and management preferred.

* Proficiency with Adobe software (Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop).

* Proficiency in Canva and other related graphic design applications.

* Experience with video creation and editing preferred.

* Experience using artificial intelligence tools (Co-pilot, Gemini, etc.) within a professional setting preferred.

* Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

* Possess a current valid Driver’s License and be insurable by company carrier.

* Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as required.

* Ability to travel to events and sites across Goodwill SEGA’s territory.

* Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
