Overview
Product Marketing Manager II focused on Rider Multi-Product Use – you will develop strategies to deepen relationships with riders and run a small team to accelerate adoption across the portfolio. You’ll shape how riders think of Uber, educating them on the breadth of our offering, simplifying decision-making, and driving adoption of products they have not yet tried. You’ll partner with teams across Product, Marketing, Research, Design, and Engineering to grow multi-product usage. This is a high-impact, strategic role with the opportunity to influence the entire rider offering and improve the purchase flow, connecting Marketing and Product to catalyze growth across diverse global audiences.
Base pay range : $169,000/yr – $188,000/yr
Location note : For San Francisco, CA-based roles the base salary range is USD$169,000 per year - USD$188,000 per year. You may be eligible for Uber’s bonus program and equity awards, with additional benefits. Details available at https://www.uber.com/careers/benefits.
What you will do
Team management: Lead a small team of Product Marketing Managers, contribute to multi-product usage efforts, and drive your own projects and experiments.
Product adoption: Develop a roadmap and learning agenda for marketing strategies to encourage riders to try different products (e.g., Uber Comfort, Uber Share, Wait & Save, Uber Moto, Courier).
Product merchandising: Identify ways to visualize and articulate product value in marketing placements and in the purchase flow to increase understanding and consideration.
Driving experimentation: Collaborate cross-functionally to test hypotheses across various channels.
Leveraging insights: Craft positioning, messaging, and education tailored to different audiences based on insights, motivations, and barriers to adoption.
Championing rider needs: Synthesize insights with Research, Marketing, and Product to inform campaign strategies that drive multi-product usage.
Scaling content globally: Scale learnings from experiments to markets around the world.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience in product marketing or growth marketing
4+ years of experience in consumer product marketing specifically
Preferred Qualifications
Management: Experience managing product marketers and enabling effective, fulfilling work.
Balancing strategy and execution: Capable of high-level strategy while driving projects in parallel.
Penchant for data: Ability to gather and translate data into insightful decisions that drive growth.
Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives across touchpoints and tailor messages to the medium.
Self-starter: Action-oriented, collaborative, and able to drive clarity and results.
Grit: Willing to roll up sleeves and persevere through challenges.
Experimentation: Experience designing and interpreting experiments.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to leadership.

Product thinking: Translate insights into product and marketing ideas to increase conversion.
Copywriting: Ability to develop consumer-friendly copy when needed.
