You will define the solutions focus areas, strategic direction and marketing and demand generation needs to create a pipeline specific to State & Federal prospects. You will develop campaigns to build a best-in-class ecosystem of security expertise. You will drive customer success, engagement and loyalty in the Federal/Public Sector market. This role reports to the Growth Lead. We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires on-site presence at our HQ in San Mateo, CA 5 days a week or a hybrid arrangement in Washington, DC. What You’ll Do

Pipeline Generation & Strategy : Craft and execute innovative account-based marketing (ABM) strategies that generate qualified pipeline across key State and Federal government agencies. Manage a portfolio of high-potential public sector accounts and oversee the full outreach lifecycle from early engagement to sales enablement. Scalable Infrastructure : Design and launch scalable, repeatable programs aligned with public sector procurement cycles, compliance requirements, and decision-making processes. Develop GTM motions for verticals such as public safety, education, transportation, and federal government. Audience & Data Strategy : Own segmentation for public sector audiences. Use firmographic data, government RFP/RFI activity, and intent signals to prioritize outreach and tailor messaging across buying centers. Campaign Execution & Optimization : Lead end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns (email, events, direct mail, webinars, digital ads) that resonate with government stakeholders. Monitor performance, run A/B tests, and iterate to maximize ROI and deal velocity. Cross-Department Collaboration : Collaborate with Federal and SLED sales teams, partner/channel teams, MDRs, product marketing, and compliance/legal to ensure message alignment and successful execution. Bridge field and marketing to close feedback loops and accelerate deals. Performance Monitoring & Insights : Develop dashboards to track campaign KPIs, lead progression, and contract wins. Provide actionable insights to sales leadership and executives on what’s working and where to invest further. What You Bring

5+ years of B2B marketing experience with 3+ years in the Federal Civilian public sector market. Deep understanding of federal personas and procurement processes. Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing operations, and product teams. Experience managing large-scale marketing campaigns and optimizing performance. Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing strategies (digital and outbound, including webinars, direct mail, email, content syndication). Employee Benefits

Annual Pay Range Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable): $120,000 - $195,000 USD Verkada is an equal opportunity employer.
