Drafter/Designer
Seeking a Drafter to work in the Power Delivery Underground Line Department in our Saint Louis, MO and San Diego, CA offices. The position involves working with engineers and designers to develop high voltage underground transmission line construction packages. The candidate should be able to work effectively in design teams, be self-motivated, and eager to learn new skills. Proficiency in learning new software packages and applying on-the-job training is essential. Duties may include interpreting survey drawings, detailing, creating plan and profile drawings, and developing construction detail drawings.
Required Education/Experience:
- Associates Degree or equivalent technical education
- Strong experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, 2018 or newer
- Ability to self-check work for completeness and accuracy
Desired Education/Experience:
- Experience creating alignments, profiles, surfaces, and pipe networks in AutoCAD Civil 3D, 2018 or newer
- Knowledge of survey coordinate systems
- Experience interpreting surveys
- Experience with MicroStation
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Background in mathematics

Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $83,000 per year. Salaries are determined based on experience, skills, and education, and do not include additional compensation such as bonuses or benefits.
