This requires experience and excellence in Social Listening and Analytics, Community Engagement, Content Marketing, and Influencer Outreach. The Associate Director, Social leads the overarching direction and optimization of client programs – working with cross-discipline team members to produce impactful work. This role will also lead social new business pitches across departments to acquire new client work. The position reports directly to the Director of Social and coordinates with senior Strategy, Search, Media, Account Management, and Content teams for a cross-agency approach to integrated Communications Planning. Responsibilities

Take the lead Social role on key client accounts – develop and execute strategic recommendations to align the team with project objectives and social best practices. Participate in business development to provide Social and digital expertise and collaborate with cross-agency teams to win client accounts. Review ongoing client work by Social team members across multiple accounts to ensure alignment with client and agency expectations. Educate cross-agency personnel on emerging social and media technologies, toolsets and processes based on industry best practices and program results. Guide Creative and Content teams on content development for social communication programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 7-10 years of experience in Social Agency experience required; client-side experience preferred Interest in integrated digital media, strategic planning, and content development Knowledge and experience with Social analytics tools and platforms Highly collaborative; comfortable leading, co-leading and following teams

Minimum Qualifications (continued)

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 7-10 years of experience in Social Agency experience required; client-side experience preferred

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Interest in integrated digital media, strategic planning, and content development Experience with social analytics tools and platforms Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams Strong prioritization, analytical, and presentation skills Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a fast-paced environment Ability to build and maintain customer/client relationships Ability to adapt to changing project or business environments

Environmental & Physical Requirements Office / Sedentary requirements: primarily in an office environment; ability to sit for extended periods and to lift up to 10 pounds.
