Are you an English-Spanish bilingual producing editor?Brave New Films is hiring a Bilingual (EnglishSpanish) Video Creator to produce and edit a bold, urgent, and emotionally powerful video campaign about deportations. Were creating a high volume of short-form, social mediadriven videos designed to educate, mobilize, and humanize.Youll help power Disrupting Deportationsa fast-moving social media series designed to counter ICEs growing aggression, expose the truth behind government raids, and amplify voices of resistance from across the country. This is an urgent storytelling effort aimed at breaking through right-wing narratives, humanizing those under attack, and mobilizing people to action.This is not a passive role. Dig into policy, lived experiences, and current events to shape video concepts that cut through the noise on social media.Script & InterviewWrite clear, compelling scripts and outlines that drive home urgency and emotion. Conduct bilingual interviews with directly impacted individuals, advocates, and experts.Produce & EditSource visualsarchival footage, user-generated content, and social media clipsor capture original material. Experience
Requirements:Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent) must be able to conduct interviews and produce/edit in both languages.Minimum 3 years experience producing and editing social video.Strong scriptwriting and storytelling chopsespecially for short, punchy content with a clear POV.High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with experience in Photoshop and After Effects for graphics and basic animation.Ability to source and license music, b-roll, archival footage, and public domain/Creative Commons material.Familiarity with basic color correction, audio mixing, and visual storytelling for digital-first distribution.Familiarity with grassroots movements, immigrant justice advocacy, and/or community-based storytelling.Comfort working under pressure, turning around work quickly, and constantly adapting based on news cycles and audience engagement.
