Position Overview
The Research Analyst US Networks will support research initiatives across Warner Bros. Discovery's portfolio of networks including TBS, TNT, Discovery Channel, TLC, HGTV, Food Network, Investigation Discovery, and OWN. This role involves leveraging linear and digital media research tools to provide data-driven insights that inform content strategy, marketing decisions, and competitive analysis.
Reporting to the Director of US Networks Research, the Analyst will also collaborate cross-functionally with departments like Finance, Strategy, Marketing, and Digital.

The Research Analyst US Networks will support research initiatives across Warner Bros. This role involves leveraging linear and digital media research tools to provide data-driven insights that inform content strategy, marketing decisions, and competitive analysis.
Reporting to the Director of US Networks Research, the Analyst will also collaborate cross-functionally with departments like Finance, Strategy, Marketing, and Digital.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior executives and internal stakeholders by delivering insightful research analysis across WBD networks.
- Track and analyze competitive viewing and TV landscape trends through ad-hoc reports.
- Assist in the creation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal and competitive brand performance across linear and streaming platforms.
- Help manage and optimize a survey panel community that collects feedback on programming and media behavior; contribute to best practices for community engagement.
- Collaborate across teams to respond to brand-impacting inquiries with accuracy and speed.
- Present findings through reports, presentations, and discussions to internal stakeholders.
- Identify trends and generate consumer insights to help drive strategic business decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 1.5 years of professional experience in Media Research, Market Research, Consumer Insight, or related fields.
- Familiarity with Nielsen tools such as Npower, Star Media, Lake5; ComScore experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with survey design, programming, and analysis; experience with Alida and panel/community management is a plus.
- Strong data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and compelling narratives.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage high volumes of information in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep interest in consumer behavior and the TV/media/entertainment industry.
- Proficiency in Excel (data manipulation) and PowerPoint (data storytelling).
