About The Role We are seeking a Lead Product Designer to play a key role in shaping the evolution of our LillyDirect platform. You'll bring design crafting and design thinking, contributing hands-on design work to help scale LillyDirect's service while elevating the user experience. Most importantly, you'll collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, researchers and other designers to redefine the healthcare experiences for millions of people around the world.
What You'll Do
Lead the design process from discovery to delivery; you'll comfortably sketch, prototype, test, refine and ship impact product experiences.
Contribute design work directly, ensuring consistent delivery of intuitive, inclusive and well-crafted digital experiences for patients and healthcare providers.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and objective critique to elevate and uphold the design quality bar across LillyDirect concepts, prototypes and the shipped product.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners in product, engineering, brand, legal and regulatory to deliver a cohesive, human-centered experience across the platform.
Articulate design decisions and rationale effectively and persuasively to a wide-range of non-technical and executive-level stakeholders to ensure alignment across programs.
Understand when and to proceed and when to pivot ideas, based on rapidly evolving circumstances and emerging insights from users or internal subject-matter experts.
What You Bring
Exceptional portfolio of digital design work that demonstrates excellence in interaction design, visual design and information architecture.
Familiarity with Figma, modern user testing tools and experience working within (or contributing to) complex design systems.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, possessing the ability to make complex ideas simple and consumable for a broad range of collaborators.
A learning and growth mindset that contributes positively to a culture of critique, collaboration and honest reflection.
Basic Qualifications/ Requirements Bachelor's degree in design, such as Digital Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication Design or a similar field. 5 - 10 years' experience in visual experience or digital product design with demonstrable success shipping digital products and experiences. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $135,000 - $213,400
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a company-sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).Lilly reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate its compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion and Lilly's compensation practices and guidelines will apply regarding the details of any promotion or transfer of Lilly employees.
